This advent calendar is a collection of twenty-five Mini Stockings with colorwork motifs in themes associated with December winter holidays. Each stocking uses stranded knitting motifs with original charts that include numbers from one to twenty-five. The stockings hang from I-Cord Garlands decorated with knitted Holly Leaves and Holly Berries. The Garlands can be used to hang the stockings on a tree or on the wall.

The yarns used in the project were sourced from the Knit Picks Palette Minis Samplers. The stockings use a selection of 54 shades from the Forest and Ocean box, Mountain and Desert box, and Sunrise and Sunset box. The stockings use a grand total of 325 grams/1,491 yards. This could also be a project that uses up your odds and ends and the motifs can be useful for placing on other garments, and personalized projects, for holiday gifts.

Stocking Finished Measurements: Leg and Foot width: 2". Ribbed Cuff to Heel Bottom/Sole of Foot: 4.5". Foot length, Heel to Toe: 3.5"
