I love the Knit Picks cotton yarns. Lindy Chain works up wonderfully, especially for lace, giving me a perfect mix of drape and shine. I recently made lace shell that will be perfect with my ‘tuxedo’ dress suit for the opera. I have both white and silver in my stash and can’t wait to use it.

Bought 5 colors and knit a Dangling Conversation scarf: added a bead at the beginning of every 4th row. Colors were silver, light blue, purple, medium grey, and dark grey. Loved it! Didn't mind knitting with the linen/cotton mix. Blocked beautifully. Can't wait to do another!!

I tend to knit with animal fibers but wanted a lighter / summer weight yarn so went with linen. It was rough on my fingers as I knit but I got used to it quickly. The color I received was how it appeared on the screen for me. Unfortunately, depending on individual screen settings, that won’t always be the case. The finished product is exactly what I wanted. I made the Etched Rio Wrap in the Conch color. It is lightweight and flows nicely, it also blocked beautifully. Definitely will get more of this yarn for other projects.

I've made a few tops with Lindy Chain and I've had a great experience with it. The colors generally look accurate between the yarn and my monitor. The yarn does not shed much during production or in the finished pieces. For a high linen content yarn, it is easy on the hands without any pre-washing. The final tops all feel summery light, drape well, are easy to block after washing, and have remained color fast. Lindy Chain is great for summer knitting and consistent enough to use for handknit gifts.

Just received my order of Lindy Chain in Conch. I expected a lighter color, kind of like the inside of a sea shell. The color is like a dark coral, kind of dull. I will not be able to use for the project I planned. I will not return it because I already paid $5.99 for shipping and the return would be another $6.99, for a $13 purchase. Hopefully I can use it for something else.
