Cotton Boucle - Bare
This fun and fancy cotton yarn creates a unique texture using plies of different thicknesses spun together to create a spiral. The resulting yarn lacks the loops common to most boucle yarns but with the wave and textural interest associated with that fanciful construction without the usual fuzz and frizz. The high-quality Tanguis (tan-gwiss) cotton has a very soft hand, excellent absorption, and, because it is a naturally white fiber, a high affinity for dyes. Use for textured cloths and towels, as well as warm weather shells and tanks with a touch of rustic charm.
Note: For best results, choose a dyeing method that works with plant-based fibers.
Use our natural yarns and try dyeing for the first time by following the directions in our Kool-Aid® Dyeing Tutorial, Jacquard® Dye Tutorial. or our Gradated Dyeing Tutorial.

This natural, un-dyed fiber is a perfect blank canvas for your creativity--make whatever color your heart desires! This creamy hue is also fabulous on its own as a neutral or paired with other shades. If dyeing, be sure you choose a dye method that works with plant or cellulose fibers.
