Three Steps Forward Socks
Three Steps Forward is a pattern for those gorgeous skeins of hand-painted yarn that are fun to buy, but hard to find good patterns for! It's simple yet interesting to knit and it shows the best of highly variegated yarn. Three Steps Forward Socks are worked from the cuff down, with a flap heel, and the last stitches in the toe are grafted together using Kitchener Stitch. There are two different cable stitch patterns, which both use slipped stitches and 1/1-cables. Stitch patterns are both written and charted.
