The Docent Afghan is a fun twist on a classic blanket. Big, bright blocks of color are worked with intarsia techniques—a great way to add lots of interest and a modern aesthetic to a soft and squishy blanket.
It is worked flat from one end to the other. The blanket is worked completely in Garter Stitch (knitting all stitches). Yarn is added and dropped to work the big blocks of color using intarsia technique to switch between colors.
