Shoreline Shawlette
  0 customer reviews

The Shoreline Shawlette is a lightweight shawl perfect for morning coffee or tea at a seaside café or for a breezy walk along the shore. Like the sea as it approaches the shoreline, the shawl’s deep blue section transitions with stripes like white-capped waves and finishes with a light, lacy finish reminiscent of a bubbly wave crashing on the sand. You’ll look fabulous fending off chilly seaside breezes while wearing this soft and squishy shawlette!

The shawlette knits up quickly in two colors utilizing garter stitch, simple striping, and a relaxing lace panel finished with a flirty picot bind off. Knit from tip to tip, the elongated triangle grows using a four-row repeat. Yarn can be carried while working stripes which means few ends to weave in! Blocking opens up stitches, creating a light weight fabric with loads of graceful, cozy drape. As enjoyable to knit as it is to wear, Shoreline is perfect for social knitting for the more advanced knitter and would make a wonderful first shawl project for the adventurous beginner!
