Introducing Clove and Spice! Clove is the crochet pattern and Spice is the knit version of these cute harvest pumpkins. This is a great beginner pattern with written pattern instructions for both the knit and crochet versions, and includes photos illustrating how to create those chubby little ridges. These little fellas are the perfect size to perch on a book shelf or to add into a little tabletop tableau (the knit Spice pumpkin has a 10.5" circumference and the crochet Clove pumpkin has a 13.5" circumference) and there's enough yarn in one ball of Wool of the Andes Sport to make two pumpkins.

I really like both patterns. I've only made the crochet version so far but came out looking really cute and I'm sure the knit version will too. My only real issue with the pattern is that mime didn't come out any where near as big as the listed finished size. I checked my gauge before starting and I carefully followed all the steps but even using the listed yarn and matching the gauge my lil pumpkin came out being 1.5" tall and 10" around vs 3" tall and 13" around

Great pattern, very easy. Did the crochet version, came out very cute!

I've knitted quite a few of these pumpkins. The pattern is really well written and very straightforward.
