The Mila sweater is a combination of traditional nordic colorwork and whimsical design. A colorful striped yoke transitions to an allover pattern that adds drama and fun to this classic-fit sweater. It is knit from the top down starting with the collar. Short-row shaping takes place in the back to give the bust a great fit. Then yoke increases are done within the yoke chart, and finally a second chart is knit for the body and sleeves.
This sweater is designed to be knit using two strands of fingering weight yarn held double. A single strand of Sport or DK weight yarn may be substituted as long as gauge is met. Changing yarn weights will also change the yardage required.
