Lilies come in many beautiful colors, have a nice and subtle scent, and their clean structured look with the almost pointy petals is a special characteristic. The stitch pattern used in this shawl, an all-over lace and cable stitch pattern, creates a flower-like form reminiscent of lily blossoms.
The triangular shawl is knit from the top down. It is started with a garter tab cast on and is worked in two almost identical triangles divided by just one spine stitch. The bottom border is a small eyelet pattern.
