The Liana Socks are inspired by the climbing woody plant from our precious tropical forests. Imagine the Liana plant climbing and swirling around trees in a rainforest providing valuable habitat for animals and insects in the forest canopy. After a short cuff, the pattern starts with ribbing on these top-down socks. A slip-stitch heel flap and traditional gusset are used. The Liana pattern is worked on the instep, while the sole is knit in Stockinette Stitch. Stitch pattern is both written and charted.
