Classic Candy Corn

This pattern was created with the beloved candy corn in mind. I wanted a pattern that would be festive for Halloween yet still wearable at any time.

Showcasing the stunning Heatherly Sport yarn this oversized boxy silhouette (intended for 15-20" positive ease) is so comfortable and will be sure to be one you reach for over and over again.

Go for the classier version of the traditional candy corn colors or change it up with any other color combination. All of these colors work perfectly together so you can't go wrong.

This is a bottom up construction that is worked in the round until you separate the front and back for the sleeves. The top stripe is then worked back and forth with German short row shaping in the back to raise the neckline and shape the shoulder while the front has shoulder shaping shaping and neck shaping that dips down for a very comfortable fit.

The neck opening is completely adjustable for a custom fit. You can leave a wider opening for a more boatneck style or close it up for more of a crew neck effect.

The pattern comes with instructions for 3 different sleeve lengths so it's great for any weather.

Working up quickly it is a very fun and satisfying project that I'm sure you will make more than one.
