This is an easy crochet pattern, perfect for beginners looking to move past granny squares. You will only need to know magic circle, double crochet, half double crochet and increasing.

For a solid colored dishcloth, work every round in the same color or mix it up and switch colors every round for a stripped dishcloth. Each dishcloth takes less than a skein of Dishie - you can get one striped and 2 solid dishcloths out of 2 skeins.

I agree with the other reviewer. While the magic circle is a great start, it begins with too many stitches to lie flat. You may need to experiment with fewer stitches to begin or adjust increases to keep it flat.

This is a very odd pattern because it doesn't follow the normal sequence of increases that create a nice flat cloth. This pattern makes for a warped cloth.
