I am a crochet originally from Fairbanks, Alaska. Fairbanks has a large crafting/artist community. I learned crochet form my Aunt and Grandmother. I have always crochet scarves, and blankets. In 2006 I decided to crochet myself a poncho and my crocheting adventures started from there. I started Mitten Made in early 2007 and I am an active participant in Michigan art/craft shows. I love the traditional techniques with modern style and I love practical functional pieces with a pop culture flare.
