This design is inspired by the multitudes of flowers bursting everywhere during the growing seasons. In keeping with the inspiration, pretty botanical lace motifs are used throughout: a simple floral pattern flows seamlessly into the more elaborate leafy border.
Blostma is a generously-sized wrap worked seamlessly from a center provisional cast on down to both ends using four tonal shades of Aloft. For extra texture and shimmer, optional beads can be placed throughout the lace as charted. The edges are worked with eyelet borders, which are useful for finishing because blocking wires can be threaded through the yarnovers.
