This is the softest wool! I have never used this before. I am knitting the Reed Heather in a lace scarf. The color is gorgeous. It looks as soft as it is. I haven't finished it, blocked it, etc., but I can tell I am going to love it. I'm so glad I got it on sale because after reading other reviews I took and chance and bought three different colors, four skeins each. Not one bit sorry!!!

I have been a customer for over a year now and I have never been disappointed, but today I am extra happy with my order. I requested matching dye lots on some opal heather I ordered the first of 1 month ago and knit picks was able to get it for me. So now my shawl turned sweater project will not be a bust. Thank you knit picks.

Love this yarn. I’ve recently made a sweater from this - Oregon heather, held together with Aloft in Oat colourway. Made it on a knitting machine, a simple dolman in stockinette with rolled neck and 3/4 sleeves. It’s utterly beautiful, light as air and so warm! By itself, Oregon heather is a bit dirty, but when mixed with the light champagne beige of aloft, it works perfectly. I think mixing two oat colorways would work great too, especially with matching beads. This yarn is soft, strong and really easy to work with. Love the heathered colorways.

Such a beautiful lace yarn! Also incredibly soft. I can't wait to purchase more for my next project!

I really like this yarn. It's wonderfully soft and squishy. I am crocheting a sweater using a 2.5mm hook from this yarn and it's going to be delightful. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that it has a slight thick/thin texture. It probably wouldn't be so noticeable in stockinette, but you can definitely see it in crochet lace. Also, I find the loose twist a little splitty but it does give it a lovely drape so I wouldn't say it's a totally bad thing. The Garnet Heather is a gorgeous colour too.
