I bought this for my mother. She loves this yarn. But to be aware it comes out more like worsted weight. Even though it splits a lot it still just takes a little more time to do the project. But if you learn how to work with it the projects for worsted come out real nice and soft and squishy. If you get he lighter colors the weight will be lighter than the darker colors.

I'm really enjoying this yarn. However, the "celestial" color is quite a bit darker than the image online. I was looking for a very bright, almost electric blue, and that's how it looked on my computer. It's still a striking blue, but very dark. Other than that, I love the feel of it as it knits up. I'm creating a fishermans rib scarf, and it's nice and fluffy and pillowy. I was concerned it wouldn't be bulky enough, but it's doing the job!

I purchased this in the colorway Sky to knit a bulky-weight shawl, which I have knit before in another yarn (now discontinued). Though it looks lovely and feels soft, it has made for a difficult knit and sup-par finished product, as compared to the first shawl knit in another product. It splits like crazy, fuzzes and sheds, and it is NOT bulky weight. When binding off, every stitch loop poofed apart into plies, so the edge looks sloppy. Even after thorough washing it is still shedding. Quite disappointing; would not repurchase. Trust the critical reviews here.

I bought this yarn to make a simple garter stitch baby blanket with and for that purpose it's absolutely perfect. Soft and squishy and much nicer than pure acrylic yarn. I liked it so much when I heard another friend was having a baby I bought a second order to make a second blanket. However, as I knit the first blanket I did notice something a little strange. The dark colored yarn I ordered (navy, bark, ivy, and ash) was noticeably thicker than the light I ordered (blush, sky, wisteria and mint). In my squishy garter stitch blanket this really didn't matter that much because the difference wasn't huge but if you were making something where consistent gage really, really mattered I'd be wary of this yarn. My second order of yarn seems to have the same problem. The pastels are a little thinner than the navy, so it may be consistent within color but I haven't started knitting it so I can't be sure. This might be the solution to the argument in the reviews whether this is truly a bulky weight yarn or not.

Wonderful soft yarn for a sweater. Placed one order and then wasn't sure if I ordered enough so placed a second order requesting the specific dye lot if possible and received it! Very pleased with both the yarn and the service.
