This yarn starts out well, but ends in bitter disappointment. PROS: colours are nice and rich. Yarn is soft, feels nice in the hand and is lovely to work with CON: garments get a bit saggy, yarn pills very badly and looks old and worn with very little wear I used this yarn to knit a sweaters for my children. I loved working with it; it was nice and soft, the colours were rich (I used merlot heather and rainforest heather), Stitch definition was good. BUT, with just 1-2 wearings of the sweaters, both started to fuzz and pill badly. Their sweaters went from looking like smart, classic items, to raggy, worn, fuzzy and old sweaters. I was so disappointed (so were the kids!) I really want(ed) to love this yarn, but this has put me off. Unfortunately I have more colours in my stash and now I'm not sure what to do with them

I use this yarn all the time and have for years. Colorfast, easy to knit with (I personally have not had trouble with tangles), soft, consistent, and affordable. I often use it as a solid with other brands of hand-paint yarns in shawls. I do have a request: please make the eggplant colorway (from palette) in stroll! I also would appreciate a true kelly green. In general, besides all the fashion colors, please carry the "8 crayon colors" for color play. I love Knitpicks yarn and needles! Keep up the good work!

I just received some Stroll in Midnight Heather and some Bare Stroll and they are so soft, my grandson was petting them and rubbing them against his cheek. It is so soft and springy. I have used Stroll before and it is just the best. I plan to make a striped tee in blue and white, for summer. I LOVE your yarns, and your service and your prices! Thank you Knit Picks!

I highly recommend this yarn! Its very soft and gets softer after washing. I have made at least 10 pairs of socks and never had a problem. I mistakenly washed them on warm water AND put them in the dryer. I thought I ruined them but they were fine! All the colours are awesome and great value for merino yarn.

I need to correct a previous review - the color I described earlier as almost a Kelly Green, almost a holiday green is actually Everglade Heather, not Rainforest Heather.
