Hawthorne Fingering Multi Yarn

$10.39 - $12.99 100g / Hank  Original Price: $12.99

A reflection of the great Northwest, Hawthorne is a yarn inspired by the varied and vibrant place we call home. Each colorway shows off hand painted hues and surprising pops of color that are as distinctive and exceptional as their namesake neighborhoods. With a high twist for durability, this fingering weight yarn is wonderfully sturdy and unquestionably colorful.

Please note: Hawthorne is a hand painted yarn and colors may vary from skein to skein.

This is my favorite yarn of knitpicks by far! And now some new colours? Yay! I hope you develop new colours a few times a year so I can have even more Hawthorne joy. Fun to knit with. It is too expensive for me to do a whole sweater, but great for smaller projects.

Love this yarn for scarves! Colorways are beautiful. It would help so much if knitted swatches were shown for all colors, and if those knitted swatches could be enlarged. I'd take a chance on more colors if they were shown that way!

I use this yarn to weave. bought it originally to go with KP's weaving tutorial video for a pillow cover. LOVE it. I've purchased many more skeins. it washes well & IS soft. No complaints. I agree that seeing some yellows & more warm colorways would be nice. I have Burlington & it's about the warmest I've seen.

I've been a Hawthorne fan for a bit, but I do have one critique---why no yellows? The blue spectrum is over-represented, but no yellow spectrum of any kind? Strange...

I love yarn with a high twist- no splitting here. The colorways are gorgeous and don’t transfer. I just wish it came in DK and worsted weight. Love this yarn!
