Sale! CotLin DK Yarn

$3.19 - $3.99 50g / Skein  Original Price: $3.99

CotLin is a cool and lightweight Tanguis cotton and summer linen blend perfect for washcloths and spa gifts and summer knits for children and adults. Tanguis (tan-gwiss) cotton has a very soft hand, excellent absorption and, because it is a naturally white fiber, a high affinity for dyes. The Belgian linen adds the characteristic flecks and additional absorbency with very low elasticity - helping to alleviate stretching in the finished knit. Summer linen has an extended growing period which results in a longer, stronger fiber. When blended with the already strong Tanguis cotton, it makes a durable, wearable, and soft yarn. The knit fabric will get softer with each wash too.

“The yarn is soft and knits up very well- a Knit Picks winner.” Obsessed with Knitting

"My favourite yarn (so far) is the Cotlin Yarn. I knit sets of seven baby wash cloths and/or bibs (one for each day of the week) and my family, my friends and friends of family and friends of friends just rave over how soft the washcloths are and the fact that these items stay soft even after several washes in the machine. Last year I knit for 6 babies and this year already I have to knit for two expectant mums. I also love the fact that Cotlin is economical in price. I can knit two and a half baby wash cloths with just one ball. The colours are bright and exciting as well. Well done KnitPicks!" lookakookaburra, Knitting Community Member

I love this yarn, my go to for baby blankets. Up until now I have been very happy with the yarn colours, I go more by the description than the actual picture. Unfortunately, Pennyroyal does not match the description, it is grey, and not a nice grey either. Otherwise, couldn't be happier and will continue to order this yarn!

I am starting to think this is my new favorite yarn. I’ve crocheted a few children’s sweaters and two baby blankets with it. I love the feel of it - so soft, and the stitch definition seems great to me. I’m also excited they’re adding more colors - please keep adding them!

I am so pleased with this yarn. It is fast becoming my favorite yarn. It works up beautifully. I do amigurumi and this yarn looks so wonderful when the piece is done. I have two more orders in the works since my first order.

@ Beth. I haven't used this but you can set cotton colors by soaking in vinegar first. I do this all the time with cross stitching.
