I bought acrylic because of low budget, to make a fast knitting scarf for Christmas. I am pleased by how soft the yarn is and pleasant to knit. It will make a great gift!

Knit up a cozy oversized cardigan in Dublin about a year and a half ago, and it's my go-to for chilly mornings on the farm and crisp evenings around the campfire. It's very soft and still looks great after much abuse and many washings. Will definitely be making more things from this yarn.

For the price point, it is a good value. However, make sure you check the gauge first because it does not knit like a true bulky yarn! I finished a sweater for my son and it was much to small for him. Also, 2 balls of the red colour came cut halfway through the skein.

I love this yarn, and I hesitated as I usually like wool. It's acrylic but knits up beautifully. I'm knitting a man's sweater in moss stitch which will be easy to care for and not itchy. Fantastic for what I want!! I already have plans for a second one in a different colour.

Yarn is very soft. Very sturdy. Beware the color cards on the website are deceiving, but that may just be my computer. This is NOT a true bulky weight yarn It's more like an Aran, or a heavy worsted. I'm hoping I get gauge with this because I'm using it for a sweater. Thankfully I'm trying to shoot for something with a little bit of negative ease. Also- immediately when I opened the package, which took WAY longer than expected to arrive, the very first ball had a very prominent knot together where two ends were tied. The only reason why I'm basically going to suck it up for this yarn is because it's $1.99 a skein, and it doesn't itch me. Otherwise I would never purchase this yarn again and just try to tough out Wool of the Andes, which I find very scratchy for garments, but wears ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFULLY.
