the cream is not an off white AT ALL it is like a cornmeal color and for my project is absolutely unusable

This yarn is very economical; that is its best point. It is not bulky having only 11 wraps-per-inch; it is worsted. I am knitting a sweater with it & the gauge is correct for worsted weight yarn. The "heathered" dove grey is hardly heathered at all, just a solid color. The yarn is not properly twisted; it splits all by itself as it comes out of the skein. I have had to cut off 20-30" from the beginning of each skein which is truly unuseable. The remainder is full of blebs - little globs of fuzz which look ugly when knitted in & weaken the yarn when trimmed or cut out. I cannot recommend this yarn for serious projects (my sweater is going to be ... um, casual, as it is spoiled by this little knots and twists in the yarn).

For the most part, this is very nice yarn for 100% acrylic, but the texture of the yarn is inconsistent, even within the same dye lot. Some skein are beautifully soft and others are downright crunchy and stuck to my crochet hook. There was also a huge variation in the color between 2 dye lots of red. Fortunately I had enough of each for the projects I was working on.

I bought acrylic because of low budget, to make a fast knitting scarf for Christmas. I am pleased by how soft the yarn is and pleasant to knit. It will make a great gift!

Knit up a cozy oversized cardigan in Dublin about a year and a half ago, and it's my go-to for chilly mornings on the farm and crisp evenings around the campfire. It's very soft and still looks great after much abuse and many washings. Will definitely be making more things from this yarn.
