With just enough alpaca to take best advantage of that downy fiber's warmth and softness, this largely Merino yarn is warm enough for rural winters and soft enough to wear against the skin. Gently spun into a loose twist, the downy fibers are given enough play to provide both thermal efficiency and flattering drape, while still maintaining the structure necessary for excellent stitch definition and durability. Lightly tweedy, neutrally-colored viscose neps are just present enough to create a subtly rustic look without overwhelming. Appropriate for warm sweaters and garments of all sorts, this versatile yarn is soft enough for accessories worn against the skin.
