Bare Stroll Fingering Sock Yarn

$8.99 100g / hank

The superwash treatment does not interfere with dye absorption at all. You will be delighted with the range and intensity of colors you can get from dyeing this yarn. Socks provide such a perfect foil for playing with dyes that they can quickly become addictive. It doesn’t take long to set up to dye yarn for a couple pairs at a time and then be well stocked for many happy knitting hours.

Love this yarn. Very soft. Great if you want to do your own dying. Will get more for sure!

Yarn picked up color so quickly that it did not dye evenly.

Color was slurped up so quickly! I used dipping and kettle dyeing techniques. I have to get more, yarn is so soft and light.

Love this yarn, takes dye beautifully, dries soft and plump, so pleased with it, will be buying more for sure.

Wonderful yarn for dyeing! Took the color perfectly (I used Greener Shades dye from the Knit Picks kit). The dye bath cleared perfectly with the citric acid included in the kit and a vinegar bath post dyeing. Deep, rich color and the yarn dries VERY soft.

I dyed this with greener shades dye and it came out beautifully! There was hardly any dye left in the bath and the skeins are ever so soft! Haven't had a chance to knit it up however don't doubt it will turn out lovely!

This yarn just sucked up the Kool-Aid. And upon rinsing, (even with vinegar) there was very, very little dye in my rinse water. Barely tinted the water. I will be purchasing again but not until I use up some of my stash.

Got my yarn in the mail last week dyed one hank with wine fit dye and the other in purple fit dye. Both were done in a crock pot and turned out wonderful. Haven't knitted it up yet. Yarn just soaked up the dye.
