This yarn is excellent! Very soft, very easy to work with, stands up all right to pulling out stitches and reworking multiple times. Also, the colors rich, even, and incredibly beautiful. Knit Picks, please don't retire Elise. Or Rochester. And please, if you can, bring back Juliet, and any other's you've retired!

As always, your alpaca is world class in both quality and colour choice. From what I understand after the current sale of discontinued yarns, you will be building out your colour choices again. Would you please include a pale green and other pastels? This customer/designer would be very grateful.

A quick note on the colour "Algernon", it's a deep cherry red, closer in colour to Pallette's "Fairy Tale" than to the photo, which is more purple on my screen than red.

I really love this yarn! It's a pleasure to crochet and is so soft, like butter! I'm working on a scarf using a G hook. It has a soft halo and the drape is wonderful. I haven't had a problem with shredding at all. I highly recommend this yarn!

This yarn is, quite simply, excellent. I have been a colourway designer for 40 years and have used alpaca frequently. This beats them all for softness, ease of use, hand and range of colours. As with every alpaca I've ever used, it does tangle a bit, but if you use my plastic bag technique or have a yarn bowl, you're set. I'm currently using some older stock in a new design of some of the pinks and purples, and the yarn has held up over time, both in a knitted garment and in storage for future use. I can't say enough how much I appreciate Knitpicks for your prices, range of products, particularly the fingering weights, and good business practice. Thank you again!
