Six beautiful neutrals and three sophisticated contrast colors come in DK weight, making this yarn a great choice for knitting toys, especially animal toys, as well as easy-care accessories, sweaters, blankets, and pillows.
This yarn is so soft that we were inspired to name it after our favorite snuggly critters! Each colorway shares its name with a pet owned by a Knit Picks or WeCrochet team member. To find out more about the pets they’re named after, read each color description!

Bluesy is a short-coat collie with Blue Merle coloring, and she has one eye that has a big fleck of blue-gray, similar to the beautiful blue-gray of her namesake yarn. Bluesy the yarn is heathered with faded denim blues and pale grays, and it coordinates well with Rorscach and Zeke.
Lily Flower is a ginger terrier mix whose fur looks stunning with blue-green colors, and her namesake yarn matches her collar and fits right in with her little doggy wardrobe. It's a beautiful, light slate blue with a slight green undertone that's lightly heathered and appears almost solid colored. It looks just right with both warm and cool colors.
While a black & white tuxedo cat may not be your first thought when first seeing her namesake yarn color, a closer look shows a swirl of red and blue-gray colors that can create a mini version of the psychological test that inspired this kitty's name. This burgundy heather is made up of shades of red blended with gray and blue-gray. When Rorschach the cat looks at this yarn, she sees a bird. What do you see?
Diggle was the definitive spicy tabby and was named after Steve Diggle, the bass player of the Buzzcocks. His namesake yarn is a gray base heathered with tones of blue, pink, and purple. Just like a tabby's coat (and personality) you never know which color will shine forth. Perfect shade for fall garments or throws, and pairs lovely with the other blues and greys in the palette.
Mabel is a Tortoise Shell Tabby cat who has a very interesting coat. The tortoise shell coloring of blacks and oranges mixes with the grey and black stripes of a tabby which gives Mabel a very pretty gray-brown coat that matches her namesake yarn. This medium gray-brown color is a stunning neutral that is gorgeous with blue shades, and the heather blend appears almost solid colored.
Zeke is a Bengal cat with a very distinct coat of brown and yellow colors. However, his chin is the only part of him that's white, and the yarn reminds his owner of how much the little guy likes chin scratches. His namesake yarn is a very pale gray heather that blends white and cream with gray and has a unique purple-pink undertone.
Karl is a tuxedo boy with a dense black main color—his bright white collar, paws, and mustache pop off his black base the way you might use black yarn with another color for a high-contrast combo! Karl the yarn features black with hints of charcoal gray blended in. The colors making up this heather are so dark that it appears almost solid colored.
Pete is a Blue Merle Australian shepherd, and his namesake yarn matches his neutral gray fur. Pete the yarn is a medium gray heather that mixes cream with shades of gray. This classic neutral goes well with any color.
