Upcycle Alpaca Worsted Gradient Packs

When our mills spin our yarns, a small amount is left over from each batch. Instead of wasting it, we work with our mills to create new limited-edition yarns, and this year’s Upcycle Alpaca Worsted, a worsted weight blend of alpaca, wool, and acrylic, lends itself to sweaters, cowls, hats, and much more. It’s soft enough for next-to-skin wear but rugged enough to keep you warm all winter long.

The leftover fibers that were used to make Upcycle Alpaca were blended into heathers with different levels of saturation, creating yarns that match up into gorgeous gradients. Sets of 3-5 balls in cozy, winter-inspired colors serve as inspiration for larger gradient projects like scarves and wraps, or knit three color-coordinating smaller accessories!

Upcycle is made with recycled fibers that vary in size, causing slight variations in yarn thickness from skein to skein. We recommend swatching with all colors within the gradient before starting a project.
