This baby blanket is the perfect project to knit for any baby with its eye-catching striped lace detail that is inspired by the colors and movement of the River Tay in the Highlands of Scotland. This pattern uses five balls, each in a different color, of Knit Picks Shine worsted.
This rectangular blanket is worked flat with straight needles from a cast on edge with simple ribbing. There are then five different bands of lace and texture detail which the pattern includes five charts. These lace and texture charts are repeated until the desired length although the pattern and yarn amounts specified in the pattern are for a finished size of width 16" and length 29".
