What better way to celebrate the arrival of spring than with a design that incorporates the best elements of the season? A light and airy piece, this shawlette makes a delicate wrap that can be worn all year round: like a scarf around the neck for warmth, or draped across the shoulders for shade.
Worked in a simple Stockinette Stitch pattern for the body, a leaf-lace pattern is worked along the edge. Due to the simplicity and flexibility of the design, this shawl can be worked up in any yarn weight and to any desired length. Additionally, it can be worked up in a variety of different colorways: solids, semi solids, variegated, speckles, gradients—all work well!
