Whimsical and quick to knit, the Pixie Purses work up in an afternoon and use up those little bits of yarn in your stash. These pint sized pouches are useful for storing coins, candy or those small knitting tools that always float around in the bottom of your bag (i.e. stitch markers, tapestry needles & measuring tapes). Knit on dpns, two circulars or magic loops, these little purses can fit all skill levels and can be knit in two different sizes (small and medium) as well as with or without stripes.
The 3” Pixie Purse uses a total of 18.5 grams (~50 yards) of yarn, and the 1.5” Pixie Purse uses a total of 13.5 grams (~37 yards).
