Pearmain Slouchy Beanie
  0 customer reviews

Pearmain is knitted in the round in a fancy rib pattern calledBeaded Rib. The ribbed stitch is easy to do and produces an interesting fabric with two different sides. This side shows ribbed sections with alternating purl row stitches in a central column that look like individual beads. Small decorative beads could be placed in this column if desired. This modern slouchy beanie knits up beautifully in five sizes with a soft, luxury blend of fibers that drape well. Like most modern slouchy hats, the rib helps the hat to cling to the head without putting too much pressure on the hair. The decreases are easy and the purl sections are reduced as normal for a rib with the decorative column neatly decreased to one stitch. The name Pearmain is taken from an apple variety Blue Pearmain that is green with a hint of blue.
