This sock is worked from the cuff down and includes an afterthought heel. Rather than waiting until the sock is complete to work the heel, it is worked after 2" of the foot is created so that the sock can be tried on and fitted precisely to the recipient’s foot. Stitch pattern is written out and not charted.
