Pretty easy for intermediate knitters. It turned out beautifully in Chrome!. I steamed and finger blocked it to get the corners a bit sharper but it looked good without that step.

An easy pattern - just pay attention when you get to the YOs. The color changes in Chroma really make this a lovely shawl. I have to make another one because I gave away the first to an admiring friend. (Yes, a very dear friend!)

This is a fairly easy and fun pattern to knit. Anyone having some familiarity with basic lace knitting should be able to handle it without any problem. An enthusiastic lace beginner with a lot of patience and sufficiently pointy needles, or just a bit of guidance doing the initial set up rows and in how to make the K & P M1 increases and YO's could probably handle it, also. The knitting work itself is easy to "read," with the repeated sections being so clearly defined. For more experienced lace knitters, the pattern is a great one for watching tv or taking along for travel knitting. I'm sure I'll be knitting several of these in the fingering weight, and might try a DK and worsted also. The Chroma fingering yarn can split a bit, so some care needs to be taken to prevent that and pointy needles are a great help too, but it works up very nicely and the various colors available are so perfect for this project that I'd highly recommend using it.
