This beautiful lace triangular shawl is worked from top to bottom. The easy to remember stitch pattern is suitable for novice as well as experienced knitters. There are only five purl rows in the entire shawl, making it a relatively fast knit.
Beads are vertically mounted and knitted in on the edge of the border. This pattern has both written and charted instructions and includes complete row/stitch count charts. The instructions are written for three different sizes which will accommodate varying yarn choices.
I was inspired to design this shawl after purchasing a lovely skein of variegated hand dyed yarn and the diagonal nature of this design showcases the colour changes beautifully.
I have also knit this pattern using a solid shade of yarn with lovely results.
I designed this shawl while sailing on the Atlantic Ocean on our sailing vessel "Oneday".
