I love the bright colors of spring, and this very sweet cardigan will let you show off these colors while keeping the wearer comfortably warm.
This cardigan design features a lace panel that grows to cover most of the back of the sweater, showing off whatever trendy spring color you desire (without having to wear only the light spring top).  The modified dolman shaping varies based on the finished bust size, with the smallest sizes having the most growth at the underarms (5 inches) and the largest sizes having the least (1 inch) providing a more flattering fit all around.
Close this cardigan with a decorative hook and latch, a simple one button closure, or leave the closing unfinished and tie a belt around it as needed!
Please note that the lace panel is fully charted.

Neither I nor my stepmother (and we've both been knitting for more than 20 years each) can figure out this pattern. The charts are supposed to apply to 3 sizes each but there isn't enough detail given to figure out what each size needs differently and the charts don't add up to the written instructions. I wish I could return it because there's no way I can knit this. Sad, because it's a beautiful sweater.
