Patrick: An Irish Lad's Jacket
This boy?s jacket, filled with traditional Irish knit stitches, is for the rough?n?tumble boy ? knit in washable worsted wool, the jacket is a sampler of cables, knit-purl combinations and the ubiquitous seed stitch. The style is a dropped shoulder and is knit in one piece to the underarm, with the sleeves knit down from the armholes and the buttonhole-band worked as you go ? this is not only a fun knit but also has minimal finishing.
