Old Magic Shawl
  0 customer reviews

Long ago, through the mists of time, when the Earth was wild and mysterious; the collective knowledge of healing was steeped in superstition and lore. Many relied on little more than herbs, spells and Old Magic to heal the sick.
Old Magic begins with a garter neck band. Turning the work 90 degrees, stitches are picked up in a similar fashion to a traditional garter tab cast on and the shawl is worked in 6 sections.
The extra fullness provided by the Beginning and End Wings will allow the shawl to wrap cozily around you and stay in place; no fussing with a shawl slipping off your shoulders! The Sparkle Lace motif is worked throughout the body of the fabric, transitioning to intriguing waves of Old Shale lace, punctuated by a gradient of color flowing through the end of the shawl.
Instructions are provided charted and written for your convenience. You're going to love the soothing rhythm of knitting this beautiful, yet simple allover lace design!
