The only complaint I have about these needles is that several arrived with splintered tips. I sanded them down so they'd stop catching on my yarn. I like them otherwise.

I love both my circular needles and my straights. My favorite color way is the Majestic. When will you offer the smaller sized in both circular and straight? I don't like having to use a lesser quality needle for projects requiring the 0-3 range.

I have tried all kinds of needles, from aluminum, to addi, from plain bamboo and birch wood, to red bamboo, and surima wood to ebony. I have carpal tunnel, and arthritis, and am quite particular about the needles I use, and have been lucky enough to have been able to try out quite a number of needles before settling down on just one particular needle that I really love. So far, my favorites have been the red bamboo, and the ebony, but the hands down favorite for me has been the Majestic needles. The points are so much more precise than the other needles, I have less trouble with splitting my yarn with these than I do with my other needles. The working surface is so smooth and beautiful, and warms nicely in my hands, it makes these a real pleasure to work with. The yarn "slips" nicely without slithering off the needles, or snagging on splinters. These don't chip, and I haven't had the tips soften, splinter, or break down, like some of the cheaper needles will do (cheaper, as in less well constructed). These are amazing! Especially for the price point!!! They are exceptionally sturdy, but lightweight, and feel really good in my hands. They really are my favorite needles. Close second are my ebony needles, but their big drawback is that the size embossing wore off within hours of knitting with them. That has not happened with the Majestics. Their needle size is firmly and deeply stamped into the top of the needle, and can't be worn or rubbed off, at least not without some serious effort. These are precision tools, and will be enjoyed for many years to come!!!

Will these be available in the circular shorts at some point?

Wood is very firm and comfortably smooth. So far, no issues with bowing, splitting or chipping. It is a harder wood. If you're used to bamboo because harder needles hurt your hands, use these for show, not everyday knitting.
