Locking Stitch Markers

These locking stitch markers were designed to hook into the knitted or crocheted stitch within a row and will not slip out while you continue working. Use them to mark increases or decreases in your pattern... Or use them to mark a mistake that you need to rip back to or catch that dropped stitch before it runs down through what you have already knitted. Our package comes with 20 pieces that will slide easily on needles up to US size 8 and convenient storage pouch.

Very helpful and easy to use! Love that it comes in two different shades (dark and light). I also like the packaging, it's not cheap and I actually keep it in it's little pouch most of the time! :)

Have they redesigned these? I purchased a package when they were first introduced, & granted that has been quite a long time ago, & like a previous review stated they would break when you would close them. If they are more flexible, like the brand Clover makes I would buy knitpicks brand in a heartbeat.

Lavender for Left-leaning increase/decrease; Raspberry for Right-leaning increase/decrease. Perfect!

I use these when knitting Estonian lace. They are perfect for slipping into each nupp as I knit them, so when I purl on the reverse row the stitches are all gathered together and I can purl it without dropping any part of the nupp!

Because I crochet often and knit occasionally, I particularly enjoy these stitch markers. They're great for crochet but can easily be used for knitting as well! The two tones of purple are nice for distinguishing different things (for example, light purple for decreases and dark purple for increases, etc). They do get stiff when kept closed for long periods, so I'm careful to leave them open when I store them. They come in a nice clear plastic pouch that's sturdy enough to keep in my crochet tool box or project bag. The markers themselves are flexible and not brittle. I've used them for over a year and I've never had one break. Reasonably priced, and well made!

I like these stitch markers so very much. $1.99 is a really a great price as I paid over $6.00 for a pkg of them at Michaels here in Halifax,N.S.

These break too easily when I lock them. They should be made from more flexible plastic or rubber.

Awesome, you can never have too many. All the uses listed above, plus they are EXCELLENT to use for holding the last stitch in crochet when you're putting it down for the night so it doesn't unravel.

Best thing ever created. I have used them for everything from marking off stitch patterns, to chaining them to mark off differences I need. I love these little stitch markers and won't ever use anything else.
