The pins work very well for me, however, I bought them to block several shawls and after using them about 6 or 7 times, they are beginning to rust. The product description says they're "rust resistant." I'm disappointed they're not going to last longer.

I found these nearly impossible to use. I was pinning my knitted garment to Knit Picks blocking mats, and found them hard to get in and out. Will return and exchange for good old T-pins.

I love these pins for delicate lace blocking. Not so great for heavier yarns. Would definitely recommend. They work well with blocking wires too.

I had to stop using these because they just kept catching the yarn way too often.

I was not impressed with these pins as blocking pins; they're too flimsy and awkward to hold much, especially on items that need aggressive blocking. I have found, however, that they're perfect for holding oddly-shaped pieces together during finishing, such as when attaching limbs to a stuffed toy.

I have ordered three sets of these over the years. None of the pins has discolored or suffered any material defects (although I did accidentally break one through user error).
Great product, would recommend. I really prefer these to T pins, and they work great for delicate yarns and with blocking wires.
