Will You Go Lassie Go (also known as Wild Mountain Thyme) is an Irish / Scottish folk song, composed as a variant on an existing tune that was based on a traditional air. It has been recorded by artists from The Chieftains to Bob Dylan to Rod Stewart. In her book 'Fragrance and Wellbeing: Plant Aromatics and Their Influence on the Psyche' (Singing Dragon 2013) Jennifer Peace Rhind references the song and notes that "in folklore the thyme plant was the fairies' playground, and often a patch of thyme would be left undisturbed for their use."

These top-down socks begin with a scalloped, lacy border that leads into a short, ribbed cuff. The heel flap is worked in a standard slipped stitch pattern. The instep is worked in a leaf and vine cable pattern and ends with a wide toe. A link to a video tutorial "Grafting without Ears" is included.

Both charts and written directions for charts are provided.
