Milo
Milo is worked seamlessly from the bottom up in a handsome combination of cables and reverse stockinette stitch. The body is worked in the round to the under arms and then the front and back are worked flat with sloped bind offs used to shape the shoulders. The modified dropped shoulder construction brings a better fit. After the sleeve cap is shaped with German short rows worked flat, the remainder of the sleeves are then worked in the round. While Milo is a unisex jumper with consistent chest measurements, a men’s sleeve option is provided for working the sleeve decreases over a longer number of rows to accommodate a longer arm length. As the sleeves are worked from the shoulder towards the cuffs, the length is easily customised.
The sizes are the actual finished garment size; a positive ease of around 8” is recommended. Pictured in size 4 with 5” positive ease, in the color Ponderosa Heather. The cable pattern is chart only.
