Lorraine's Lace
  2 customer reviews

Lorraine's Lace is a beautiful lace-backed t-shirt. It is knit bottom-up in the round, then split at the underarms to work the front and back separately. Stitches are picked up to create the sleeves. The main body of the shirt is in stockinette and the lace panel is described using a chart that cleverly uses repeats to keep it concise. It comes in five sizes, from XS to XL.

Given that the construction is simple and the majority of the work is stockinette, the shirt would make an excellent introduction to lace work and chart reading for intermediate knitters.

Lorraine's Lace is a great project for summer or early Fall - knit in KnitPicks Dishie, it is light enough to work on on a hot day, but warm enough to wear as the weather starts to cool.
