Includes yarn and pattern
The Lampwork Hat and Mitts are a colorful, coordinating accessory set that both show off the same bright patterning. Worked in the same colors at different gauges, the hat uses worsted weight and is worked as a simple beanie with ribbing at the brim while a deep chevron pattern transitions into what seems like panels of stained glass along the crown. The mitts use a sport weight yarn and are worked identically except for thumb placement. Similar to the hat, the mitts are started with a wide ribbed cuff. Both the hat and mitts feature a colorful allover patterning where three strands of yarn are worked across a single row at times. Because the triple-stranded colorwork tends to make a less-stretchy fabric, the mitts are large through the palm and the pattern also includes tips on sizing.Included pattern is download only.
Kit includes enough yarn to make both the hat (worsted weight) & mitts (sport weight).
