I bought the pattern and got so excited by them that I have been making them for the last six months between other projects, using chroma twist, and scrap yarns. I can see this as the beginning of a long term love affair with this pattern.

In 2017 ‘a group of seven’ of my friends completed a fingering weight Persian dreams throw for our children’s charity auction. Gauge was key and after practice and a few meetings all were on the same page! Unbelievable. It gleaned over $1,000 for this deserving charity. Fun, difficult at times, extremely proud of the outcome.

I have knitted this pattern in both the fingering and worsted weights and absolutely love it. It's not easy to find a blanket that doesn't get dull to knit after a while and this one keeps you on your toes. Make sure centers of hexagons are knitted tightly or they will pop up.

Done my first piece and a long way to go. Easier than I thought with clear instructions. probably a two year project for me!

I ordered just the pattern, and have worked it in the original colors, but in worsted weight yarn. Did 10 blocks, 1 in turquoise background, 3 on white, 3 on dark red, and 3 on dark teal. Absolutely beautiful! Now I will order a kit in the dark colors. These are extremely habit forming!
