Jacquard Acid Yarn Dyes
Can't find yarn in a color you like? Don't worry, we have you covered with these colorfast dyes. They will brilliantly color any protein fiber (wool, alpaca, cashmere, silk) and nylon. Simply choose from our selection of Bare yarns and dye with one or several of the colors shown. Each 1/2 oz. jar will dye approximately 2 lbs (900 grams) of fiber, depending on the depth of shade.
Use our natural yarns and try dyeing for the first time by following the directions in our Kool-Aid Dyeing Tutorial, Jacquard Dye Tutorial. or our Gradated Dyeing Tutorial.
We know it's obvious, but also worth repeating: Final color results may vary. (Sometimes surprises can be tremendously pleasing, but if you are not happy with the results, don't despair. Overdyeing can cover a multitude of mistakes!)
