Gormlaith Scarf
  0 customer reviews

Gormlaith (pronounced "gorm-la") is a cabled scarf designed specifically to showcase the complex textures and colors of tweed yarns.

The scarf's namesake, Gormlaith Ingen Murchada, was one of the most notoriously beautiful and wicked noblewomen in medieval Ireland. She is said to have provoked the Battle of Clontarf, which ended the Viking Invasion thought to have brought braided designs to the Emerald Isle.
