Froth
  0 customer reviews

This pretty mohair and silk scarf is a cozy luxury to knit for yourself or a friend. The center panel features a small lace repeat that is easy to learn and remember; a traditional handkerchief edging provides a feminine but non-fussy touch. Froth grows quickly on large needles. Because the dense texture is a garment feature, no blocking is required. It's ready to wear as soon as it comes off the needles!

Finished dimensions: 8" wide x 52" long

Skill Level: Intermediate
The scarf begins with a provisional cast-on, and the center section is knitted in one piece from end to end. The handkerchief edging is knitted on with dpns; double joins ease the edging around the corners. Lace stitches required are yo, k2tog, skp, and sk2p. The center panel pattern is both charted and in words; the edging pattern is in words.
