Flying Trapeze Shawl
With a background of dropped stitches, these cables seem to catch each other in mid-air like a great trapeze act. The asymmetric trapezoid shape adds even more to the impression of swinging energy, finished with tassels for a little razzle-dazzle.
Choose the right level of drama: the pattern offers three shawl sizes and one scarf size, all worked from the narrow to the wide end, with panel(s) of drop-stitch cables on a ground of Reverse Stockinette Stitch divided by ribbing. Simple stretchy cast-on and bind-off edges allow the option of blocking the shawl with either scalloped or straight ends.
Cable panel is written and charted.
