Wrap yourself in lightweight warmth with this large and luxurious mohair and silk wrap. It is a delightful accessory for a bare dress but also looks good with less dressy clothes. The main body of the stole is knitted in two sections so the ends are mirror-imaged. A series of double joins eases the edging, knitted on after the body is finished, smoothly around the corners.

To accommodate the preferences of a variety of knitters, instructions for both the lace center and edging are presented in words and in chart form.

The stole grows quickly on large needles. A deep color makes a dramatic statement for holiday parties; knit it in white or a pretty pastel for a garment that is wedding-ready.

Skill Level: intermediate lace. The center section requires basic lace stitches (yo, k2 tog, skp, sk2p, k3 tog), and a provisional cast-on. The border is knitted on with double and triple joins around the corners.
