Entanglement is a long cowl, worked flat across the width and seamed into a loop at the end. It uses three contrasting colors with two colors of cables traveling over a neutral background of reverse stockinette and a small amount of garter stitch at the edges to prevent curling. It uses one ball of the main color and scraps of the contrast colors and can be a great way to use up leftovers from previous projects.
The design was inspired by the physics phenomenon in which particles in a group cannot be described independently of one another. Anything which affects one particle will affect all other particles in the group, regardless of the distance between them. The colored cables represent particles as they twist around each other, split apart, and come back together again.
Some colors used in the sample are no longer available. We have made substitution suggestions in the Kit Builder below.
