I actually like this yarn. I bought it first, then read the reviews and was afraid to knit with it. After some time, I finally took a skein and went to work. Honestly, I like the feel, the squishiness, the definition. I use the Knitpicks interchangeable needles in a size 6 with these and so far have made two pairs of fingerless gloves and am jumping into a slouchy hat next. I can't seem to put the yarn down. I also like that it has wool in it so that the garments are warmer/cozier. So far I've found one fuzz ball that can easily be worked out, and no splits, or knots.

I was nervous to buy this based on the negative reviews, but I'm glad I did! It is very smooth and a bit shiny. The softness is wonderful considering it's 80% acrylic, and I like the bit of added loft and warmth the 20% superwash wool adds to it. This is my new go-to yarn for easy care gifts.

First of all I'm always cold. I am nursing and have 3 kids, so I need washable. This made into the warmest coziest sweater I've ever OWNED and I bought super fancy layering, heat reflective jackets etc. I LOVE THIS YARN! PLEASE make it in sport weight!!!!!!!!

I really like knitting with this yarn--it has a much nicer hand than Wool-Ease or even Encore, and it splits less than Brava does--but be warned that the colors are not always as they seem on this page. Canary in particular has a STRONG green undertone, almost to the point of being a spring green instead of a yellow. Several of the pastel-ish colors are much brighter in person, as well. You're probably better off going by the descriptions than the pictures.

I'm so surprised at the negative ratings on this yarn. I'm so in love with it, I think I'll make all my future projects with it! This is so incredibly soft for an acrylic yarn. There is absolutely NO plastic-y feel too it at all. I used to think KnitPicks Brava was a pretty soft acrylic option but this blows that out of the water - and out of my stash. It's absolutely perfect for baby items. It gets a bit of a halo on it, like an alpaca yarn would, and as for splitting - well, all plied yarns will do that. You just have to keep it in mind when you work with it. My only complaint is that I want more colors!
